Last one in my old-doll-dump...

Wow. I decided I wanted to enter Miss Doll Myth, and I wanted to do something "interesting". I forgot interesting = suck my life and take forever.

Easily my most heavily edited base, since DHF doesn't do base with 4 arms in a very specific position. I'm really happy with how she came out overall, though there are bits and pieces I dislike (mostly her veena [instrument] and some of the weirder folds on her sari). I really enjoyed doing the research for her - looking up symbolism on Saraswati and different types of saris.

I made it to the second round of MDMyth, but it was canceled, and I didn't complete the next one. Still, it was fun.

I love this one, such an interesting doll, not many people do the multiple arms thing like the hindu's did. Nice work, it looks spot on with a real hindu statue.

Lovely doll. I especially love the detail on her veena. Not many people can do a four armed doll and make it work so congrats on doing to :]

Thank you for not moshing in my pants

Really? Half the reason I picked a Hindu goddess was so I could do a four-armed doll.

Thank you! I put a fair amount of work into making her look just right.

Thank you! Finding references for such an odd instrument was hard.
